Residencies

experience the beauty of the northern Catskills from the Main Street of historic Prattsville. As a Part of our residency in the High Peaks of the Catskill Mountains, You will be immersed in the culture of a small Rural town, & the community of artists and musicians who circulate through this special space. Prattsville residencies offer artists informal live-work & rehearsal space and unstructured time to explore ideas in an artist-run environment within walking distance of forest hiking, winter skiing, and river swimming.

A limited number of Community Residencies are available each year by application. Community residents contribute to the Center by teaching, helping to rebuild our space, or creating a community based project. Community Residents may arrange opportunities to participate in group shows and performances in the gallery, to discuss their work with PAC’s director, artist and NYU professor, Nancy Barton, or to host events as part of their stay (event limitations due to Covid may apply).

Affordable Residencies, Retreats, and Event Space is available by reservation to Artists, Writers & Performers from 2 nights to 29 days. Inquire for availability & rates. Community Residencies require a written application, artists’ statement, and portfolio.
